1. Status
Workers on Shifted are engaged as PAYE agency workers. We are your employer for tax, NI and pension purposes. The venue you work at is the host, not the employer.
2. Pay
You are paid weekly, every Friday, for shifts worked Monday–Sunday of the previous week. Holiday pay accrues at 12.07% from your first shift.
3. Cancellation
Workers cancelling a confirmed shift inside 4 hours of start time will receive a strike. Three strikes in 90 days results in a 14-day platform suspension.
4. Pension
You are auto-enrolled into our workplace pension scheme (NEST) after 8 weeks of continuous engagement. You can opt out at any time.
5. Right to work
You must keep your right-to-work documentation up to date. Expired RTW will pause your account until refreshed.
6. AWR equal pay
After 12 weeks at the same hirer in the same role, you are entitled to the equivalent terms of a directly-employed equivalent worker. We track this automatically and apply uplifts in payroll.
