Terms of Service

1. Definitions

"Platform" means the Shifted: Oxford website and apps. "Client" means a venue or hospitality business booking workers. "Worker" means an individual offering services through the Platform.

2. Margin and invoicing

Clients are charged the agreed agency margin (Pay-as-you-go: 18%; Volume: 12%; Enterprise: per contract) on top of the gross hourly rate paid to Workers. Invoices are issued weekly in arrears, payable within 14 days.

3. Cancellations

Shifts cancelled with more than 12 hours' notice incur no charge. Shifts cancelled inside 12 hours are charged at 50% of the booked value.

4. Conduct & safety

Clients undertake to provide a safe working environment, including breaks, water, and (where applicable) hot meals on shifts of 6+ hours. Discriminatory or unsafe conduct will result in account suspension.

5. Direct hiring

Clients hiring a Worker into a permanent role within 12 months of their last platform shift are subject to a placement fee of 15% of first-year gross salary.
